Dr. King - Guest Appearance Artist

JL King is the author of the novel, Love on a Two-Way Street, and the New York Times run-away best seller, On the Down Low, with more than 250,000 books sold (and still selling)! This book has changed the dynamics of relationships forever. His story made it all the way to the couch of The Oprah Winfrey Show!

He was named one of the 50 Most Intriguing African-Americans for 2004 in the November issue of Ebony Magazine. King also is the recipient of several awards for his work in educating people about the importance of getting tested for HIV and his work in motivating people to make healthy choices when it comes to sex practices, sexual orientation and gender identity has been commended by health officials around the world.

Keith “Cash" Brown got his start in theatre when he auditioned for Michael Matthews in 1991, and the rest is history. He took under-study roles, starred and co-starred in productions, and won lead roles. He has made his place in the business. He has worked with playwrights and production companies including Je'Caryous Johnson of I’m Ready Production on Men Cry in the Dark, Palmer Williams Jr. on Can a Woman Make a Man Lose His Mind? and Secret Lover, Michael Matthews on Sugar Daddy, and Tyler Perry on Madea’s Class Reunion.  Labeled a character actor, Cash played multiple roles in many productions. Over the years his versatility earned the respect of acclaimed fellow entertainers such as actors Carl Payne The Cosby Show, Miguel Nunez Juanwanna Mann and Life, Hawthorne James The Five Heartbeats and Speed 2, Beverly Todd Lean on Me, and numerous singers including Ron Winans, Melba Moore, Dave Hollister, Ali Woodson of The Temptations, Keith Washington and Gary Jenkins of Silk, to name a few.  Cash is known as "THE ENTERTAINER."

Alicia Simpson The journey with No Jive Productions has been one of great joy and of many challenges. This family of people pride themselves in bettering communities in any way possible. The goals, values, and mission of this organization show integrity. No Jive Productions, Inc has given me the opportunity to not only worked with them as a board member, but also as an actress. It has given me the chance to showcase my talents in many ways, whether it is on stage or in office.  The goal of No Jive is to give others the same opportunity it has given me. I am truly blessed to be a part of an organization that not only wants to grow and be well known across this great nation, but it wants to showcase others in order for them to do the same and be successful.

Latoya Roberts, a native of Brooklyn, New York, began performing as a child.   Her versatility in performing arts included singing and dance. She moved to Miami with her family and continued to pursue her dream. Show after show, audition after audition. Latoya was determined to continue performing. In her teens, she encountered No Jive Productions Inc. and added acting to her list of talents. With No Jive and her family's support she quickly, but surely matured into an acting career.  Now a seasoned performer, Roberts’ future is limitless.

I remember every Saturday morning I would stand on the veranda, grab a broom and pretend I was on stage performing. The feeling I got from that was indescribable. I knew then that I wanted to be an actor. I would like to thank God for faith, for faith as gotten me this far. Many thanks to my wonderful parents for allowing me to express myself. Theo Martin

Daryl L. Gilyard Jr., was raised in Miami, Florida, in a single family home with a devoted mother, brother and two sisters. Gilyard is a Renaissance man. He graduated from high school with a dual diploma, one for finishing high school and the other for finishing a three year architectural program through Miami Lakes Technical College. He is pursuing an Architectural degree from Broward College and has been pursing acting and modeling since the age of 18.  His big acting break came when No Jive Productions cast him in the lead role of His Double Life. Gilyard has become a positive role model for other young Black actors and actresses who aspire to dream.

Aunt Gail

Joyce Warren a Miami native is without a doubt an up and coming pioneer in the R&G (Rhythm & Gospel) circuit.  To her credit, her adult career in music ministry has expanded to affiliations with nationally known gospel theatre productions.  She has been seen all over the United States in, Listen to Your Woman, He’s Got the Stuff, Didn’t Mean to Hurt You, Go and Get Your Life Back and What’s On the Hearts of Man.”  She is also a melodic singer/songwriter, currently registered with Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI)

Cheryl Sanders

Louise Senatus is a Haitian-American woman born August 19, in Miami, FL. The only girl of 7 siblings, at an early age she learned from her brothers to be strong and firm to hang with them. Her brothers have always encouraged her and taught her to never depend on anyone but herself. While dreaming of one day becoming an actress in high school, Louise became a fulltime mom and quickly set aside her passion for acting/ghostwriting to provide for her son and mother. Throughout these tough seasons in her life, Louise never stopped writing and dreaming. Deep down in her soul, she has realized her dreams and wanted to reach for the stars. The burning desire motivation Louise to return back to school in pursue of a college education. Louise is now focused on her dreams and is knocking on every door until someone lets her in!

Theo Martin and Matthew Sanders - Understudy

Diamond Taylor, the middle child of three male siblings, he was born into a Christian Bahamian family on May 18, 1985 in Free Port, Bahamas. He graduated from Coral Reef High Magnet School with highest honors in the Medical Academy.  Presently, he is pursuing a Masters in Public Health degree at Barry University, while working as a HIV Counselor at a gay, minority, STD prevention organization. In his downtime, he volunteers for various not-for-profit sectors which include, but not limited to, homeless, environmental and substance abuse. Diamond aspires to become a Public Health Advocate and through his work looks forward to improving the lives of everyone.
